Master Making

Our master model makers are highly experienced craftsmen, that have been trained to the highest standard of the jewelry industry , and are familiar with all techniques of jewelry production. We can make a master by hand, in wax or in a 3D file that will use the computer generated model using a 3D printer.

Master mold making

Once the master model has been created and inspected for any flaws the master is molded.

This process involves to make a rubber mold by positioning the model between layers of rubber and is vulcanized to the point until the rubber forms an impression of the master.

Once this is completed, a skilled craftsman is separating the mold from the master model by cutting the rubber with a surgical knife.

Wax injection

After the master mold has been inspected for any flaws or imperfections, it is now ready to inject wax to create an exact copy of the original master.

This process is done by injecting liquid wax into the mold by an wax injector unit.

The wax electronically controlled is filled by pressure and it pushes the liquid wax into the mold.

Once the wax has been cooled, the mold is opened and the wax can be removed.

Casting & Filing step

The wax model is now positioned on a wax stem called a tree, this way several pieces can cast at the same time. The wax tree will be covered by a metal cylinder and then filled with plaster. Once the plaster is hardened, it will be place in a burnout oven to remove the wax impression from the plaster mold.

Now the plaster mold is ready for casting, this process involves to shoot the liquid gold through vacuum pressure in the cavity of the plaster mold and so, reproducing the master

Once the metal is cooled, it can be removed from the plaster mold and is now ready for production.

Again, the piece is inspected for any flaws and imperfections which is a very important step to ensure high quality.
